“We booked two nights and enjoyed the hotel so much we stayed a third night. I very seldom give a perfect score to a hotel but this was well deserved. The staff were outstanding! The hotel was immaculate plus it was a “green” property. We highly recommend staying and enjoying the rooftop view of Lake Michigan……”

“It was what I look for in a place to stay. Staff was great room was very clean and the continental was really good. It was everything I look for in a hotel. My husband and I just retired after 30 years. We worked at a State Resort Park in Ky. So we really look at how maintained and the cleanliness of the facilities. Continental breakfast was replenished. It just was a really good experience.”

“I would not recommend this hotel. The ceiling above the shower was coming down, the towel holder in the bathroom was falling off the wall, the new flooring didn’t reach behind the toilet, a picture was removed from above the bed but the metal clips were still hanging there. And the batteries died in the card device of our room door so our security cards wouldn’t work. It was a Sunday and maintenance doesn’t work on the weekends. The front desk had to use a makeshift wire and string to feed under……

“We arrived one hour before checking time, there is no storage room for guest luggage, we have to pay early check-in fee for one hour. There is no flexibility. The fare I paid includes breakfast, but hotel only provide very simple breakfast set for pickup, one muffin one apple juice and one yogurt only which is far from my expectation. Overall it is a fair hotel, don't expect too much.”

“Needed a last minute place to stay, and this was clean and quiet, with attentive staff, though poorly maintained (eg old furniture stored in the hallway, bathroom exhaust did not work). The room had a huge hot tub in the corner with a wall mirror. Fantastic location, easy drive to downtown Zion and Illinois Beach State Park.”

“I flew into Milwaukee on a delayed flight and arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM. I was told by the shuttle driver and then the front desk clerk that there were no rooms available. I gave her my reservation and she stated it was in her system. She then stated that the hotel allows bookings that exceed their room availabilities. She was trying to find another property that could take me in. There were none in the area. She asked me to find one on my own. I found a Holiday Inn 20 miles away. I……
