Rex Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"From the moment of arrival to the last of our stay the service and amenity were nothing but outstanding!!
Every member of the staff team went out of their way to meet our every need, and more!! Nhu, Chi & Tu at the Rooftop Garden bar, Linh at the wellness centre all deserve a special mention. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud.
They even arranged a surprise birthday cake for my partner! We will certainly return to The Rex!!!"
"The facilities are kept clean and running smooth with actual care. The service is outstanding. Those looking to stay in District 1 for a reasonable price will not be disappointed in this hotel. Check in is smooth and the staff go above and beyond to accommodate your stay. A delicious breakfast buffet is probided every morning with several options. Catering is easy and the food and drinks are great, though most will want to take advantage of what the surrounding district has to offer.
You're a ten minute walk to the mall and several other shops and restaurants. There's always a Grab vehicle or two ready to take you further if needed.
People complain the beds are stiffer in VN, but the beds here were closer to western style in my opinion. The bathroom has modern equipment and the amenities cover the needs of most if not all visitors. The TV is up to date with capabilities for whatever streaming service you might be using. The lighting is more than adequate. Laundry service was prompt and the clothes came back perfect.
The rooftop pool gets busy, and people feel entitled to reserve the spaces, so I would skip this unless you need to take a lazy day and plan to get in very early. The sauna, located on the same roof, is a more personal size, though recommended as I never had any issues of availability.
Altogether you get the complete package of an easy, yet fulfilling stay with a hotel that aims to take care of you. "
"Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Provided excellent service and was made to feel very welcome at the hotel. Hotel is also nicely located near shopping and dining options. "
"I have returned this hotels many times. It is one of the best places to stay in saigon. Professional and friendly staffs. It is 5 star luxury hotel. "
