"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."

"We traveled from Oregon to London for Spring Break (me, husband and 3 teens) . The owner was very transparent about construction going on next door, which it was but we were out of the place early every day so it didn't really impact us. The townhouse was very much as stated in the VRBO description. We had a couple of issues with things like the dishwasher, but the host was very responsive and even came over 1 evening to help us out. He was really nice and helped to make our trip even better....

"We came in for a football game and are a family of 5. There was a lot of space for us to spread out. I was a little concerned with some of the other reviews but the property management company was good to communicate with. The Wi-Fi was not great and we could not get the TV to work. Wish there were a few restaurant recommendations or things to do provided but maybe they only do that in the states. Overall the place were perfect for us and in a great tucked away location. Tube was a 5 minute walk...

"We arrived to this charming neighborhood a bit early before our check-in time. The host allowed us to drop our bags until cleaning was complete. It gave us a couple of hours to wander around and explore the neighborhood. There are lots of charming restaurants, shops and a park all within walking distance. "After a challenging start to our trip where our already booked VRBO cancelled on us the day of travel, staying in this home ended up great. The location is not one we were familiar with and found that we loved the real neighborhood feel after long days of sightseeing in the more crowded areas. The local pub is 1/2 block away, serving great Thai food and providing that true local London pub feel. Shops and restaurants are down a walkway lane about 3 blocks. Tube is a short walk away. "Our stay at the Mandeville was outstanding. The main reason for this was the concierge, Said. He helped me so much, especially with my wheelchair, recommendations, hailing taxis, and anticipating my needs as I am mobility challenged. He's worth the stay there!
