"Clean and spacious room. We upgraded our room for a lake view is quite nice. Some dirty towels in stairway. Our room patio screen door was duck tap at the bottom; may be it is a temporary fixed. We wish there is a better breakfast menus. The purchased breakfast buffet was below par even for my spouse who is not a picky eater."

"This place was amazing! Do Not let the picture of the front of the building deter you from booking, it actually just adds to the special character of this place! Which was great!!!All your basic needs for an enjoyable stay are provided...Five bedrooms (4-down stairs, 1-up stairs), with additional open sleeping area with six beds (2-doubles, 4-singles) on the second floor! Both large bathrooms are on the first floor, there is a well equipment kitchen and a washer/dryer for your use.Alot of available things to do inside (books, games, little children playroom, and table games for the adults i.e. ping pong, foosball, air hockey, card table) if rainy or just want to stay in for the day. There are several different sitting areas for small groups to sit to have thier own conversation away from the whole family or group of friends! Plenty of off street parking (hmmm six cars if needed) It was great sitting in the garage listening to the birds... The house is handicapped accessible from inside the garage, the lift was also very helpful bringing bags in/out!K-Town Bar was just a very very short walk and has plenty of room for a large group to gather. I really enjoyed thier hamburger for a late night snack!I could keep on going, but you just need to see for yourself... definitely hope to plan another trip to Alexandria MN to see family and book this place for our stay! "

"Very family friendly property! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils and small appliances I needed. Loved the large dining area and the grill had all the propane we needed for grilling. There were no surprises as we read the previous reviews and knew exactly what to expect. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus, it was great coming home from vacation with clean clothes. We're definitely going to stay here again!!"
