「Due to weather we had arrived late and missed the last orders for food. Went out of their way to direct us to nearest takeaway and even on return allowed us to eat in the bar area and even let us have some plates :) thanks so much for making us feel so welcome x」

「For £60 a night I had a clean and comfy bed, a hot shower, and a tea and coffee station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Yes, it is a little noisy and crooked, but it's an old pub with normal pub hours so that's to be expected. I'm a female in my early 30s travelling on my own and I felt very safe and welcomed.
Obviously this is not the hotels fault so still rating a 5, but just make sure you have a decent car to get there as the route is very steep and goes through a mountain range.
