"This charming motel is cute, comfortable and clean. And perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. The owners of more than thirty years are welcoming and obviously committed to providing their guests the best. They are currently remodeling, repainting and redecorating these already sweet little cabins. With only two days to play and such a short drive from Portland this was a delightful find for a much needed respite and aura-fluffing. Thank you. We will be back. "

"There were ants in our room. Not too many, but enough to be annoying"

"Hotel.com lists this hotel as pet-friendly but it isn't. Fortunately, the hotel manager made an exception. The hotel room is great, but it is noisy. The upstairs footsteps were very loud. The bed was fantastic. "

"Stayed here before, great view before. This time view of backside 0f other rooms. Hotel was not busy and those rooms seemed unoccupied. If we stay in the future I’ll be sure to ask for the front rooms looking at the cascade locks."

"We were there for a wedding. We upgraded to a two bedroom suite. It was well worth it. It had a large, fully equipped kitchen, dining room with table for 10. Two fireplaces one in the master bedroom and the views were incredible."

"Beautiful grounds, unique historic hotel, friendly staff —even an adorable welcome bag (with cute bandana, water dish, treats and poo bags!) for our doggo. Beautiful rooms, nice dining, art deco decor. Special! "

"The hotel was much nicer than the pictures shown and was a great value. No issues with bedding, linens or cleanliness. Front desk was friendly and there was a walmart and multiple restaraunts a few blocks away. I was pleasantly surprised and would stay there again."

"They’ve obviously been doing a lot of updating. Very clean, slight smell of new furniture or chemical, probably from the renovations. Friendly staff, pretty grounds. The hot tub was being replaced, sad that I couldn’t use it but will be nice for future guests. "
