Drummond Island Resort

8/10 Good

"Our travel plans changed unexpectedly and so we had a late check-in. I appreciate the communication for the late check-in process, which was very easy. Overall it was a really nice stay. The room was comfortable and family friendly. I like how there was a third single bed for kiddos, even though we didn't have a use for it. We were in a first floor hotel room. It was noisy in the evenings when people above us were walking around (I think there was a young family that stayed up late). In addition there was a loud gurgling noise when the room above us used the shower. It sounded like a potential leak or block in the line. I mentioned this to the hotel and was disappointed they did not respond other than to say that there were no other rooms available."

"Absolutely stunning place with a back porch you could sit on forever! The host was so helpful and responsive. The location is amazing, I really can't say this enough! Book it, you won't be disappointed. We will be back forsure!"

"Awesome location. Wonderful sunset views, solid dock with breakwall was great for parking jet skis. Main house was quite modern and well equipped kitchen and massive TV. Would certainly consider renting again. The cabin was a bit dated, but functional. The large deck on the back of the home was very useful for dining and relaxing in the shade and sheltered from the lake breezes. We used it more than I expected. Quite close to Yacht Haven for launching boats or jet skis."

"This was our second visit. It feels like my grandmas house in Tennessee. Wrap around porch, wood floors, quaint decor, faces the river, freighter traffic all day. The host Gary is super responsive and accommodating. A short walk to restaurants Mainsail and Village Inn (their Swiss mushroom burger is renowned) or the food truck by the ferry is also very tasty. Think lazy days sipping drinks on the porch. Extremely well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We visited Drummond Island and ate at Esther’s Mexican! We’ll be back!"
