“Overall, my stay at Hotel Isla del Sol in the Rosario Islands, Colombia was excellent. I truly enjoyed my time there—the setting is beautiful, the atmosphere relaxing, and it’s an ideal place to unwind. The included breakfast was good, offering a satisfying start to each day, and the staff were especially friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the coffee. Introducing a commercial manual espresso machine at the bar……

“Très bel hôtel, pas de surprise il est similaire aux photos (les plages sont très très belles et la couleur de l'eau est malade). Merci à eux pour leur attention à propos de mon anniversaire, c'était très apprécié! L'hôtel propose de nombreuses activités (moyennant supplément bien entendu). Une "critique" que je pourrais émettre concerne le manque de transparence quant au prix du transport en bateau depuis Cartagena, au départ il était indiqué que l'on paierait le transport + un droit……

“The breathtaking beach and views blew me away! This is not a place for partying, more so for families and couples-maybe even a group of friends. This does not have a party scene at all. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to order so much because several reviews said the menu items were limited, we ordered calamari, robalo, pizza and seafood pasta. All dishes were filling and delicious!”

“The ac was good. They had power shut downs at least 2 times between 4 and 6 but we were enjoying the pool anyway. No big deal. The people were friendly and they even gave us free coffee. The scuba diving company on site was excellent Diving Planet. Make sure you go out at least once. They also allow lionfish hunting. I caught 21 with my friend. Highly recommend it for some R&R. ”

“This is a place where you can relax as its isolated from city and any noise. Staff are friendly and professional, water is warm and clean there is a platform you can jump in the water but there is no sandy beach. AC worked just fine, the local provided consistent quality food. ”

“I use this property to overnight when I was diving. The power is only on at night but the breeze and fan was adequate for getting us good night's sleep. The water is solid although I didn't trust it for drinking. The owners couldn't have been nicer and they included breakfast was good.”

“After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night. “Wir haben dieses Juwel in mitten der ganzen Tourispots auf den Rosario Inseln gewählt und wurden mit dem Transfer am Hafen direkt in Urlaubsstimmung gebracht. Die Insel ist klein, perfekt und wir haben unsere 4-Nächte sehr genossen. Das Essen ist sehr hochklassig und man bekommt für sein Geld neben dem Frühstück zum Mittagessen und Abendessen ein 3-Gänge Menü geboten.
