"Nice hotel, clean , comfortable beds"

"Thoroughly enjoyed a nice September weekend at Mar Monte. The staff were wonderful: friendly & helpful. I'm from out of State, and found the fresh produce in the restaurants to be outstanding, along with good service. The room was comfortable - firm mattress, with a soft pillow-top, soft pillow, good temperature. They do have a primitive cooling system, which is rather loud. Bathroom & shower were clean & good. The hotel is right across the street from a clean and well maintained beach - safe for walking any time of day. I'd happily stay here again next visit."

"This is a great property with wonderful staff and two nice pools and hot tubs. The hot breakfast is one of the best ones we have had while traveling. Everyone is helpful and makes it an extra special stay. The area around the hotel is in the best part of Santa Barbara and has great shopping and restaurants just down the street. Love this place! "

"Front office staff was very helpful in assisting with a request. The property grounds are green and well manicured. There is a balcony or patio (ground floor) for units. I did not use pool although it is in the courtyard. The area is convenient and relatively quiet but with many restaurants close by."
