“The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and had a lot of charm. The bathroom was small, but adequate. The shower water pressure left a lot to be desired. It’s a very old building which is part of its charm. One issue.. They were having construction work done and all the parking was roped off. It started the day before we checked out. We should have been informed of where to park. One of the construction team directed us. Other than that, our stay was delightful..”

“Way, way, way, over priced for a fishing camp hotel. Price gouging at its best! Terrible location, congested bad. If the price would have been $75.00 a night I would be a little nicer. Sorry not $335 a night because of a concert in town.”

“The room did not look clean. Once walking in there was stains on the beds. They were stains on the towels. There was mold and dirt in the trashcan. The door handled to the room was falling off. I had to screw the screws back into it myself to feel safe glad we brought our dogs. There was just an awful feeling about the whole place. there was also dust everywhere in the room. I booked the room online paid for it already online told them I was bringing two dogs with me and once I got there there……

“Absolutely fabulous stay! Very spacious and comfortable room. The hosts were great - they called twice on Christmas, the day we were arriving, to ensure we had the codes to enter and details for our stay. Breakfast was great and they were accommodating to our allergies. Beautiful bed and breakfast. Will definitely be back!”

“I am giving one star because this is a false booking. The people who run the Danville are no longer available, there is no website and no number to call. The property is now run by someone else, who was wonderful. ”
