Mountain Home Vacation

Spent one week at this well designed, spacious and beautifully decorated home. All the amenities included are as described in the listing. Very comfortable home with wraparound decks and outdoor furniture. Overall, very welcoming and well stocked home made for a perfect escape from the heat of Houston in a beautiful alpine setting along the Snake River.

Very Nice Home, great location!

We were a party of 8 including two children and the home was perfect for us. The only knock is that there is a twin bed in the office/study but it is elevated with no safety rail, so don’t count on using it. The pizza oven was a nice thing to have and the kitchen was very well stocked with every cooking appliance you may need. The steam shower and sauna plus the jacuzzi gave us plenty of options to enjoy relaxing after skiing. It’s walking distance to the village but if you are skiing you will want to drive and park or take the shuttle which has a stop just across the street

Guys Annual Ski Trip

We have a group of 6 guys who do a week ski trip every year for the last 10 years, and always pick a new mountain. This property was the best we have ever stayed in! It’s even better than the pictures look, and the Murphy bed in the theater room made it a great 6th bedroom so we all had our own. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to cook every night. Hot tub was amazing with a view that can’t be beat. Walking to lifts is a bit far (10m) but the red line shuttle stops right in front of the house .

Perfection

Great house with tons of room for multiple families. Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. All of the cooking supplies we needed and great bath products. We loved being so close to the slopes and even walked to the ski village in the snow one day. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Family vacay

The 14 of us - 3 generations - came from 3 states to enjoy the snow and the mountains together. This was an awesome house for our 8 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of hangout room in the great room, room for 4 cooks at a time in the kitchen, and a lot of bathrooms. The resort management was very responsive and helpful, and we love skiing and boarding at Keystone!

Rive Ridge

Had a great experience at River Ridge. Just got back from a five night ski trip with a group of 11 guys. Accommodations were absolutely perfect and clean. Pizza oven was a nice touch and we really enjoyed making our own pizzas. Location is perfect very close to the skiing at Keystone. This is a fantastic property and hey great value

Great Family Get Together

Lots of comfortable space for a large family ski vacation. The check in process is convenient. The property manager was super responsive to our needs. The only drawback is that the two twin Murphy Beds in the "Loft" are right over the living room and are not really good for children because of the noise from below.

Best property so far!

Every year we meet somewhere in the US and rent a nice, big house in a location with things to do. It cannot have too many stairs for our 87 year old parents. The Alder's chalet more than exceeded our expectations. Everything was modern and well maintained. The kitchen was awesome, huge and well stocked with the basics. Every appliance we needed and then some! We never went out to eat! Great open concept with an island between the kitchen and living room. When not in the kitchen/living area, we enjoyed the outside jacuzzi hot tub, theater room, sauna, steam room, pool table or ping pong. It was too cold to eat outside at the 10 person table (but there were three heaters and we could have) so we ate inside at the 10 person table. Sometimes we just sat in stools around the kitchen island. One day for happy hour we sat by the outside fireplace before going inside by the fireplace. The main difference between this and other houses we have rented was how solidly built it was. No drafts, no squeaky floors, nothing in disrepair. Very impressive! We highly recommend Alder's Chalet for your next stay in Keystone! The management company was awesome to work with and had quick responses to all communication.

Lovely mountain home close to town

I rented this house for an annual family get together and it did not disappoint. While it was in a neighborhood with some construction noise it was close enough to town that we could walk which was great. Th house is laid out well and accommodated our group of eight adults and five children well. My only real complaint is that the owners have locked off the pantry in the kitchen so no place to store groceries and no master bedroom closet (a tiny armoire which was not large enough to store clothes). That’s the first time I’ve run into that in a rental home. However, the other amenities were great so overall it is a fantastic home. The adult children loved the pizza oven (although it would have been nice to know it takes almost two hours to heat up). The outside fireplace was nice to have for cool evenings and there are also three outdoor heaters, although only one had propane. The rental agent was very nice and quick to respond to a minor request. I would not hesitate to rent this home again. Our children all agreed that it was second only to one we rented two years ago that is no longer on the rental market.
