"Perfect location in Gion, easy walking distance to convenient bus stops and subway stops, as well as many restaurants/shops. The Shirakawa river was so relaxing to watch. From our room, we could see cranes, turtles and large fish! Excellent decor with art and beautiful lighting, incredibly spacious (3 stories, all with full bath) with nice amenities (coffee/tea, pajamas/robe, umbrellas, laundry!, rooftop deck) and all rooms/floors had separate lockable entry code. I had only minor quibbles...

"This is an amazing rental in a very old fully remodeled unit. The location is great and the host is fantastic! We accidentally missed a day in our booking the host added the day and came by late to collect payment. Wonderful for a short term stay as there is no kitchen and no parking but there is paid parking nearby. Would highly recommend!!"
