Perfect family staycation

A very cosy and great hotel. Purchased for a king studio, but was upgraded to family suites with no add charges. Very friendly staff and helpful. We really had a very pleasant stay.

Pleasant Stay

It was a pleasant stay. This is my repeated stay as easy to find restaurants or coffee shops. Also, convenient stores are nearby. Safe place although traffic could be heavy during peak hours so needs to take precaution when crossing the roads.

If you look closely, there was a lot of dust everywhere. It seemed like they only cleaned the visible areas. The coffee pot was so dirty, unlike any other hotel I've ever stayed in. It was the worst thing I've ever seen. Instead of water stains, there was something white on the spout. It was horrible.

It is time to renovate the hotel rooms

I have stayed in this hotel for years. Sadly the owner did not maintain the property over the years. When I checked in early this week, there was cockroach in the bathroom. The aircon is noisy and the interior looks old. Bottled water with a max of 2 per day. Additional water need to pay extra.

This is a great location. Lots of eateries and good food. The Jin Xuan Restuarant nearby has very good Tim Sum. The room is comfortable. I like the space. There are two aircon units which is great for hot weather in Malaysia. There are 2 TVs which is unexpected. The bed is comfortable. The cleanliness could be improved. Example the tap had soap marks when I checked in. The hair dryer coil was very dusty. The wooden floor was a little bit sticky on first day. It would be better if bedroom slippers can be provided. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

Hope to see improvement

Have been booking The Signature Hotel for the past 4-5 years. A loyal customer to this hotel. It was really a good, clean and comfortable hotel for short trip. However, I think the management need to renovate or touch up or deep cleaning of the hotel room as many areas are getting too old..especially for toilet, the bathroom tiles are dirty, mouldy….I will come back for sure if the hotel renovates. The guard or cleaner using walky talky outside of hotel rooms which was very noisy. The door slamming of those room really very annoying. Can you put some soft cushioning to slow down the door as it closes so to avoid slam.

Housekeeping to be improved

I was first given a room that was not ready, staff acknowledged that there was a system error and assigned another room to me. Aircon in the living area was faulty but I am fine with the other aircon unit in the bed area. Housekeeping was not performed by 3pm when I was out from 8am-2pm.

I was woken up by the fire alarm in the middle of the night. I ran downstairs with other guests, but there were cleaning tools in front of the emergency staircase door and I couldn't open it. I managed to open it and escape, but I'm glad the alarm was a false alarm, but if there was a real fire, I wouldn't be able to escape. This is very problematic.
