"Great for the price. Very affordable and right in the middle of the Zona Romantica. That means it can be a bit loud at night, but I knew that. Night gets loud outside around 11pm and lasdts until 1:30am then is quiet. Not the hotels fault, just the nature of the area. Amazing breakfast each morning from 9am to 11am. Coffee, huevos, and fruit. Made by very kind staff. Would recommend for the thrifty traveller. Wifi not the greatest, a bit spotty but got the job done."

"Very beautiful place to stay! Lalo, our host was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He helped us rent a golf cart, which made zipping around Sayulita a breeze! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The pool was perfect for relaxing. I will stay there again!"

"Hosts: Extremely helpful, they went out of their way to help me get items I needed for the next stage of my trip. Room and building: Excellent. Atmospheric with lots of character, and a view of palm trees from my window. Cool with AC and a powerful fan. Big garden area which is nicely lit at night, with swinging chairs, recliners and a pool. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 day stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean. With the door closed and air on at night, we had no issues with noise. The views of Banderas Bay from our patio and the lovely pool were spectacular! Breakfast was great, fruit and eggs made to order. Service and atmosphere were always friendly. We will definitely return!"

"Casa Sundaram is very tasteful and comfortable, and a very short stroll to the quiet beach. The kitchen is well equipped, and beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards are included. "It was horrible experience. I didnt even stay at this place. I made reservation through expedia and the host mentioned he never got the reservation on his end. To make things worse, he said he was all booked and had no more rooms. I had my family with me and had to look elsewhere for a night's stay. Im glad i called him a head of time and found out. Or else i would've showed up without anywhere to stay. The host said it has been years since they have used expedia. Expedia, please remove hotel...

"I would have liked to have seen some kind of map of the property and information explaining what was available. The property is not huge but neither is it a boutique hotel so I got lost a few times. I also booked a suite and would have liked to have had dish soap, dish towels and cloths and coffee in the room. It's hard to swim in the ocean but that's to be expected along this stretch of the beach. The food was pretty good. Location is good. An older hotel but I would stay here again."

"Great stay. I stayed 4 nights here. I arrived to Puerto Vallarta noon thankfully they were available to accommodate with an early check in. I was assigned to the 20th level, the door of the room did not open with the key and that was due to the “battery”. They had said that they were going to send tech to come and fix it while we went to go eat. When we came back to our room the door didn’t open with the key. It was a bit disappointing and frustrating that I was staying at a well known hotel and to have this issue was just overwhelming. I had to go to the lobby twice because no one was sent. Long story short, I requested them to switch my room and they did. I still remained on the same floor just a couple doors down. The views were magnificent. What I liked about this hotel was that it was very well maintained and there was security. This made me feel safe, not any person was allowed the resort without a bracelet. Over all this was a great experience minus the door. I didn’t let the door ruin the stay. Great staff. Everything was clean. I don’t recommend the all inclusive, I recommend going out and exploring. Everything is cheap. There are taxis inside the resort with great prices. It’s the same price as an Uber. "
