The manager was very accommodating. He also called cabs for me and told me when they would arrive. Sami was the manager. The location is outstanding . If you’re a reader of Virginia Woolf , the squares where she lived are only 2 blocks from the hotel. - Gordon Square and Tavistock Square. Also, Hotel Cavendish is across the street from Waterstones book store and it has a great cafe. I love this Bloomsbury neighborhood!

Hotel Cavendish is nicely located accessible to buses and the tube. Staff is excellent, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is surprisingly good for a reasonably-priced hotel. I love it and will stay here again.

Great stay at a good price. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. My only complaint, at 6’5”, is that my single bed was put alongside the shorter wall in the room, so I had no space to stick my feet over the edge. But that probably wouldn’t be an issue for most.

Stayed for four nights at the STG down the street and it was so depressing, tiny, and no tea service. Moved to the Cavendish and we were so happy! No AC, but didn't need it in June. Daily room attention, tea service, and much better room size. The light from the window was lovely, and they provided a fan. Breakfast was adequate- not a full English breakfast, but we had plenty with freshly boiled eggs, pastries, fruit, and cereal.

The inside interior is a bit tired. My room was in the basement and it was a strong smell of cleaning solution, like if they tried to hide another smell. Small but functional room. Bed comfy, room had a table. Breakfast were good. Location is amazing and it’s like you get what you pay for.

The hotel’s location is excellent particularly for those travelling on their own. However considerate more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. There is no lift, staircase is narrow so carrying multiple suitcases is a challenge. The decor is in need of attention. Bathrooms are clean. Expect basic simplicity it worked perfect for me.
