「It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. 「Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We...

「This is the perfect place to stay in Maine. Come here for a 30 mins drive to Bar harbour and Acadia national park. A nice central area to stay in with good restaurants nearby. Great staff and clean bathrooms」

Cabin a bit musty but opened windows & everything was great.
Cabin was very clean & bed was comfortable !!!
Loved the girl that checked us in -

「The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!」

「This was the most lovely New England room and home. We truly had an amazing time. Right next to a ton of lovely breakfast spots, ample parking, and about a 25 minute drive from Acadia. Would highly recommend!」

「The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!」
