「Very nice property with friendly staff. Location is a short walk to town where there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The majority of the rooms are in the building across the parking lot from the hotel restaurant and river. Partial view river views look across the parking lot and are quite limited but pleasant. 」

「We would definitely stay at the Loopy Shrew again. Great value for money. Our room and bathroom were very clean, quiet and comfortable. We heard nothing from the pub below. The location is great, with very short walks to beautiful areas of town. There was a lovely array of breakfast choices included for free with the room charge; we had vegetarian eggs Benedict, coffee/tea & juice. 「Beautiful stay! Very comfy family room with a king bed and a single, fan provided as it was HOT! Very small bathroom but very clean with lots of towels. Gorgeous terrace for drinks and beautiful breakfast the next morning. The only suggestion would be the terrace is maybe reserved for residents as we wanted to go in for another drink and it was full which was a shame. But cant blame them, it was gorgeous there! Thank you for a lovely stay!」

「Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again. 」

「Great location. The hotel is almost next door to the railway station. The room is clean, warm. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that there is no lift and the staircase is very narrow, which made carrying four suitcases upstairs a real challenge.」

「From check in to check out, staff were really friendly. As a solo traveller I felt safe at all times. The pub itself seemed very friendly. The breakfast was lovely and the chef was very accomodating, cooking my order to my request. Would certainly stay again.」
