"The room service was the worst. Ordered chicken noodle soup. When it arrived it tasted like it came from the can so I called the front desk and to tell them this and asked why it tasted unseasoned. I was told that it was from a Campbell soup can which absolutely threw me. "

"Such a wonderful place to stay on our road trip from San Francisco to San Diego! Missed the wine and cheese party by 5 minutes, but the gracious front desk agent and happy hour host gave us a complimentary glass of wine 🙂 after our 6-7 hour drive. The "continental breakfast" was far better than most "breakfast buffets"! There were made to order waffles, premade omelets, sausage links, oatmeal, cereals, fruits, coffee, juices, bagels, breads, muffins, and more- delicious! The rooms were spacious with multiple outles, coffee station, fridge, safe, renovated bathroom, cozy seating area, unexpected balcony, and UNEXPECTED fireplace with a timer. Just too many more things to list. Great, helpful, friendly staff. Good location. Definitely recommend this place!"

"This is our favorite place to stay in Monterey. You can see sea otters from your balcony if you book a harbor view room. (Most rooms have the view, but there are a few that don’t). Every room gets a continental breakfast delivered daily, make your selections the night before. It’s an easy walk to the Aquarium, historic Monterey and Fisherman’s Wharf."

"You can see the view from the window from the second floor not from the 1st. The toilet backed up and it went into the hot tub so we wasn't able to use the hot tub which we paid for. We had to move rooms we could have stay but again the remnants from the toilets backed up into the hot tub so there was not a chance that I was going to use that. We did get another room but I have yet to get accommodated for not being able to use the room wish we had paid for. We did get another room but the other room did not have the hot tub which we shouldn't have to pay for the first night fully but we did get a discount for the second knight which they said. I have not yet to get a phone call about The issue that we experience and also to get a refund back from the difference of the room. So because of that I gave it a low rating. "
