“Clean, spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows. Could not hear any cars or trucks but heavy footsteps from upstairs and people talking from next door. Free simple breakfast. The air conditioner was a bit loud. Hallway smelled like smoke but room did not.”

“Slept fully clothed with the lights on. AC didn't work. Left at 3 AM rather than tough it out.”

“Pre-paid, but when I arrived I was told that the hotel was overbooked. The front desk sent me next door to their “sister property,” the 2-star Fairfield Inn. Might as well have been a Motel. Disgusting and dirty. And no price adjustment! The shower was dirty, the bed sheets had a drawing on them in black marker, and the room was generally dirty with what appeared to be blood on the wall. ”

“I actually kind of loved it despite parts of my review. It was in a perfect location and the landscaping was beautiful. The price is really great for the area. The staff were super accommodating and nice. There was plenty of space and a little balcony to sit on and enjoy a beer or glass of wine at the end of the day. The downside? The suite, while very large, was lacking in kitchen equipment (pots but no utensils, a few plates and bowls but not even any salt and pepper) and even though they……

“Beautiful area & very nice, quaint hotel -- BUT we were looking for a place either on the water or close enough to walk. The hotel we really wanted did not have availability for our time frame. The rep who I spoke with told me that while this hotel was not on the water we could walk to it & even see the water from our room -- NOT!”

“Room was clean. Definitely older property. Pets allowed which was great! My door however did not have any interior installation so it was not as secure as I would like and allowed noise and sunlight through it. In room fridge definitely needed to be cleaned better. ”

“The room was charming, clean and comfortable. Not like your typical big-chain hotel for sure. Convenient to the lighthouse and other historical sites. Will definitely recommend to others and am already planning g a future stay. ”
