"We loved the cabin and our small dogs loved the fenced yard where they could roam without a lead (they are city dogs and always on a leash when outside). The only disappointment was we could not access the sandbar because the river was above flood stage our entire trip. Was very relaxing to just nag out and read! The kitchen is very well appointed."

"This historical home is beautiful! Very nicely decorated and comfortable, while retaining the elegance of a time gone by. The grounds were well maintained and the home is located in a peaceful neighborhood. There is a very good restaurant on the next block. Excellent communication from the host Donna. "I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the beds. The sheets had hair and glitter in them. I sanitized a comforter and covered the couch. It had glitter on it also. I slept on the couch and left a day early. I was afraid to use anything in the kitchen. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow and blanket."

"Enjoyed our stay here. We were immediately greeted at the front desk and given a room within no time. Our room was clean, well stocked and great temperature. It’s in a very nice area and across the street from a Home 2. I personally ensure the value of this hotel and the breakfast. Next time we are in town, we will book here again. "
