「The property was a joy. The views, the comfort, the historical deals where all an absolute pleasure. We were a large group celebrating a milestone birthday. It fit perfectly for our needs. We had a few issues with the gate at check in, but George was quick to respond and great to work with. Please note, this is a historical villa, so you will have the issues that go along with an older home, but none distracted from our stay, just added character. Thank you for an amazing time! 「Ich war mit 5 Freundinnen in dem Haus. Es war ein wunderschöner aber nicht perfekter Urlaub. Leide gab es ein paar Kleinigkeiten die während dem Aufenthalt aufgefallen sind. Jedoch wurde immer sofort und total Netz auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert und sich direkt drum gekümmert. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Was man noch beachten muss, man kommt nicht mit dem Auto direkt zum Haus, kann auch nur zwei Straßen entfernt parken. Der Garten und der Pool waren traumhaft.」

Man spürt bei vielen Gelegenheiten, dass es den Besitzern ein wirkliches Anliegen ist, ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Das gelingt auch bestens: Danke! Einziger Wermutstropfen: Freitag und Samstag können diverse Parties in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung die Nachtruhe beeinträchtigen. Trotzdem: Ein wunderbarer Ort, sehr empfehlenswert!」

「This property is outstanding. We wanted to stay closer to switzerland (where we were headed after Lake Como) and wanted to be out of the thick of the crowds. This ended up being perfect. The house is composed of an upstairs apartment and a main floor apartment. We rented both. In-laws were upstairs and our family with baby was downstairs. 「The property was good and we enjoyed our stay. The address provided was incorrect, it is number 29 rather than 9 so that caused some confusion when we arrived. It is also uphill from the town so would recommend a car or a taxi. There were no Ubers available in Menaggio. The view from the property is beautiful and the house worked well for us.」

「My extended family (12 people) spent an amazing week at this property. The property exceeded our expectations considerably, it's absolutely pristine and has amazing views. About a 10 minute walk to Menaggio with lots of charming shops, restaurants etc.Laura helped us arrange private chefs and boat tours, was very responsive and kind. This is an expensive place, but it offers great luxury and beauty. A good value I'd say. My only warning will be that the drive to/from Como is not for the faint of...

PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is.」
