“The room had a terrible smell that was unbearable to tolerate more than a few minutes without making us feel sick. Additionally the doorknob fell off as soon as we entered so we were unable to lock it and felt unsafe. We checked out immediately and explained our issues to the host but he was unwilling to give us a refund. “Everything about this rental was extraordinary. The location is near the best of Ft Lauderdale right between the beach and great shopping/dining. The pool, hut tub, and shaded area in the back made spending hours outside easy and pleasurable. The kitchen is well equipped and the coffee and supplies provided were the most generous we’ve experienced at any rental. The staff are great and attentive and very easy to work with.”

I was shocked, embarrassed, and concerned to find strangers inside the unit I had reserved weeks in advance.The replacement property was just as bad. All the water had a urine-colored tint, visible in the sinks. The shower had no door, and water flooded the bathroom floor with no proper drainage. Sinks drained slowly and backed up, making cleanup impossible.Wi-Fi didn’t work upon arrival, delaying important……
