“This place was amazing!!! The location is incredible and the room was so clean and well decorated. The housekeeping staff was so kind and they did and excellent job at keeping the room tidy and clean. The breakfast was perfect and so were all the amenities. Would 100% stay again.”

“Highs and lows! Staff was great. However, feels like because we were an Expedia reservation, we got the run-down part of the property when it was nearly empty. Pros: Amazing location. Walkable to everything. Gym was awesome. Staff was great. Room was clean*. Cons: No AC. On the 4th floor, it gets hot. Also, in the run-down wing, neghbors balcony looks into our bedroom. Not great when there’s no AC and you need the door open. Feels like 1960 called and wants their condo back. Deferred……

“Great hotel for trip to Mount Rushmore. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and the breakfast had good options. Hotel was quiet for the most part. We had loud people above our room, but the staff was helpful in getting them to quiet down. The property was beautiful and safe as well.”

My two friends and I stayed at The Hythe a "luxury hotel" and had our trip completely ruined by what can only be described as theft by hotel staff and gross negligence by management. What Happened: A housekeeper stole our room key from inside our room and returned the following day to steal a $13,000 Rolex watch. After 48 hours of police……
