This hotel is in the heart of the French Quarter. Lots and lots of nearby shops and restaurants and bars. Extremely convenient to walk almost anywhere you wanted to see. The place is older, but has a really cute and unique charm to it. We did not utilize the gym so I cannot speak to how that was. We also did not eat at the restaurant there, or drink at the bar so I cannot speak to that. There were just too many nearby to use the ones in the in the hotel. The room was clean, but small, however, that was expected because it is older. My only complaints is the staff. They were super friendly when I saw them, but they’re just weren’t very many of them.
I also was given a room that was towards the back of the hotel on the third floor with no elevator access. That was a little bit difficult. I had to take the elevator in the lobby up to the second floor, walk down a couple hallways, and then through a small stair area before going to an outside patio area. I then had to drag my luggage up two flights of steps and walk down another walkway to get to my room. Since it was outside and I was there during the rainy season, this caused me to get myself and my luggage wet, not to mention my luggage was extremely heavy to be dragging up two flights of steps. It also caused me to get wet every time I stepped outside of my room.
I still will give it five stars just because that’s not something the hotel can really help due to its age and how it’s built.

I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with how quiet our room was. Very friendly and attentive staff. The courtyard is gorgeous and such a calming vibe away from the craziness of Bourbon St. In the courtyard they had a jug of iced cucumber water where you can help yourself to daily, which was such a nice touch.
I’d stay here again for sure!

The rooms were so dirty. The bathrooms were terrifying. Those walls have NEVER been cleaned. Asked front desk for the room to be cleaned. Provided pictures of how bad the rooms were and were assured it would be taken care of…. It wasn’t. House cleaning didn’t even come everyday.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would strongly caution others before staying here.
During my stay, multiple rooms had visible bed bugs. I have photos showing both the bites on my body and bed bugs with visible blood. Even after changing rooms, I continued to get bitten by more bed bugs. This was extremely disturbing and unacceptable.
The cleanliness of the rooms was also an issue. My room was not cleaned as requested, and the replacement room had a loud noise occurring almost every hour, which made it very difficult to sleep. On top of more bed bugs.
There were also serious problems at checkout. The hotel charged someone else’s credit card to my account, which created unnecessary confusion and frustration. In addition, the staff was very unfriendly and difficult to work with throughout my stay. They repeatedly said the manager was unavailable, and despite staying at the hotel for five nights and requesting several times at the front desk, I was never able to speak with the manager. The manager also never attempted to contact me nor was I offer any other substitute
While the location of the hotel is good, the issues mentioned above make this property completely undesirable. Bed bugs are a serious concern, and there is a real risk of bringing them home, which can become a major problem to deal with.
Because of this experience, I will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Our flight did not arrive until 8:37 PM I make sure to call the hotel at 4:21 PM to let them know we would not be there at 4 PM check-in time but we would be coming later that evening once we finally arrived. Remind you this is during Mardi Gras at 10:36 PM due to the parades only to find that our room had been canceled. No one from the hotel or Expedia reached out to us.

Room was a little small for 2 people with 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons. Rooms around courtyard are a little noisy. Old charming hotel. Staff are very helpful!
Hotel is right in the French Quarter. Convenient to Cafe Beignet and a variety of restaurants.

Wonderful location. Beautiful decor. Quiet for the French Quarter and great staff. Would stay there again!
