「We stayed at the Shocard for 4 nights while enjoying NYC. The location is incredible with it being so close to Times Square, Hell’s Kitchen, Bryant Park and the subway within a 3 min walk. Yes, the rooms are smaller in size, but clean, comfortable and who spends their time in their room anyway when in NYC when there’s so much to do! 「I can only say the location is ok. but the hotel 's facility is quite old, the door lock is not sensitive to the key card. And the bathroom hygiene situation is very bad, you can see the photos and judge by yourself. And sometime the neighbour might smoke, i call the reception few times and they said they can arrange the security to check, but waht i need is changing the room to real non smoking area, and they didn't follow up for this request. I think they have many things need to be revamped.」
