"The hotel is beautiful nestled up in the mountains. The grounds are beautiful but unfortunately we did not get to explore much due to the rain. The staff were helpful especially after we left behind one of our luggages and they were able send it to our next destination. It’s quiet and a wonderful place to relax. The onsen and warm

"The room was really spacious and provided us the option of having western and Japanese style room and we really liked it. We didn’t use the facilities because of lack of time but the hotel has

"I loved my time here. I stayed in a traditional Japanese style room which was a great experience. The view from my room was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful and my room was clean. There’s a shuttle bus that goes from the hotel to Hakone-Yumoto station but I didn’t use it so can’t comment but that is helpful as 3/4 of the walk to the hotel is fine and easy but the last 1/4 of the way is a pretty steep incline.
