“Really friendly staff who were more than happy to help me carry things upstairs with having injured wrist and as we were going to be away early also provided some breakfast bits for us. Very comfortable room, would stay again :)”

“We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.”

“1. There were many dead bees to start off with 2. Bedside lamps didn’t even work so we had to sleep with the main light on. 3. The pressure of the sink in the toilet was disastrous as it was too high and would go everywhere and the water kept turning on and off . 4. The main light kept flickering. 5. There was also no staff in the property and when we faced some problems in the night and we weren’t comfortable to phone them in the night .”

“The room was pleasant and the bed was extremely comfy, the remote for the tv looked like it needed a good clean and the ceiling fan blew air up not down. Expensive for what it was, wouldn’t have minded if it was an £85 room.”

“Beautiful centuries-old property, yet extraordinarily well-renovated and with all modern comforts. Situated in its own quiet grounds, Old Church Farm provided us with a lovely night's rest after a long day of travel. We would definitely visit again.”

“For a budget hotel (although I did stay in a Premium room) the room was really quiet and the bed was large. I slept really well. Lovely shower, fun design details - painting, large lamp, coffee machine. The room felt spacious. I’d stay again.”

“Be very careful when booking your place as I have booked an apartment with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen as I have a baby but was given one room which did not meet my needs at all. I did not have no other option than sleeping and return home the next day. It is above the pub which is noisy so be very careful when booking this place.”
