“Good location!”

“There were way too many nicknacks in the room and bathroom which we had to move out of the way to put our stuff down. Too much furniture too to the point where you had 18” to squeeze thru to get to the bathroom. Some of the rugs and blankets were tired. Great location, enjoyed the outdoor patio.”

“Pictures of property and descriptions on booking sites were misleading: Google map and couple sites show pool (apparently no pool since at least 2020 according to staff), no breakfast, no WiFi access provided, etc. Property was adequately clean but some of the pillows were stained (covered by pillowcases), a couple of the sheets had holes, etc. The mattresses were okay but squeaked with every movement. Inn is supposed to be non-smoking but there was odor of cigarette smoke at night coming from……

“Very clean, long staircase, good, helpful staff. No water in kitchen area was awkward.”

“The Harbinson House was a great place to stay for going to a show at Ace of Spades. It is in a beautiful historic neighborhood and the place itself is a quirky historic home. I was able to walk back and forth from the venue while looking at the amazing architecture of the houses. My room had an Alice In Wonderland theme with a functioning Victorola which was really cool. There is a shared bathroom with one other room, but it was really clean and not an issue. Late check-in and early check-out is……

“Our cabin was quiet and tucked away. The bed was comfortable and our view was to natural forest behind - two chairs and a coffee table on the deck were a nice touch, the bathtub is okay for those who like to soak but we prefer showers and would rather that space provided a more up to date shower. The shower was small and faucets etc. Cold and corroded. If you stay, ask for daily maintenance or they don't do it. We were four miles south of Mendocino and that worked out just fine, it was……
