"I can’t say enough about the staff! Everyone was so helpful and kind. The entire facility was squeaky clean. Our room, #439, was a corner room with an actual balcony with chairs, a view of cannery row and the bay. Because it was a corner room, it was bigger with a very large bathroom. Nice workout facility and pool too! Walking distance to good restaurants and a mile or two to excellent non-touristy eateries - Monterey Fish House & The Sand Bar on pier 2, so lots of options. We highly recommend the Intercontinental!"

It’s just one block from downtown, so it’s nice and quiet but still super easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The continental breakfast was tasty.
