Hurricane comfort

Responsive compassionate owner. The home is beautiful with quiet neighbors. Next time we book hopefully won't be because of a hurricane.

Beautiful house

First of all, highlight the kindness and good communication with the owner. The house has a lot of space, it is very comfortable. The games in the garage are very enjoyable and the pool area is spacious and excellent for sharing with the family. The house is in a super quiet neighborhood.

House not as described in listing

The house is listed as a luxury pool spa themed home, and that is not the case at all. The spa had about 3 inches of water and did not work. The pool was dirty. I messaged the property manager everyday about it and she kept assuring me someone would be there tomorrow and then assured me someone had been there to fix it. The house is very dirty. The carpets were filthy and the property manager said they had just been cleaned. Trash was left in the kitchen and dirty towels hanging behind the bathroom door. I chose this house for the spa and pool and I am very disappointed in the property. The house owner definitely needs to know the shape of their property. The listing of the house was totally false and misleading.

Poor Communication

The property itself was a 4. Communication with the owner was unprofessional and disingenuous. We were unable to get in touch with the owner to receive instructions on how to check in until a few hours before check in, although multiple attempts were made. The owner gave a code that did not work for the property and were sitting outside for over 3 hours. We were asked to “give her a second” because she had just gotten off a plane, although I’d been on the road for 7.5 hours, which was very unprofessional and disingenuous. We were told the house keeper would be there in 30 minutes, she showed up 1.5 later. The code also did not work for the housekeeper. The owner promised to compensate us for our troubles and she did not. She also somewhat refused to communicate with me, but chose to communicate with my significant other who was 10 hrs away in another state. She told him “no offense, but men seem to have better luck at getting into the property”. VRBO offered to give us a free night stay at an hotel and another location for the duration of our stay, but the housekeeper showed up as I was on the phone with them.

Nice home

This was my second time staying in this home and it has been consistent both times. Check in is easy and the host gets back to you fairly quickly. Nice house for the price. 70 additional to heat the spa.
