Disney Family Vacation w Adult Kids

This property was fantastic! Large bedrooms. Separate dining and sitting area, Family room sectional with TV and the garage is converted movie room. Plenty of seating on covered patio. Pool and hottub worked great. Small issue with storms tripping the pool filter, but property management was fantastic all week and had someone out right away. Proximity to stores, restaurants was helpful. And less than 20minutes to each park!! Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Property!

This home was a nice reprieve from the park attractions. It is in a very well-kept and quiet development. The house was very clean, organized and spacious and there were so many places to sit and relax. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked we were able to prepare meals easily. We really enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing by the pool. The property management was excellent and any question I sent was immediately answered no matter what day or time. This was extremely appreciated. Renting this home was a wonderful experience!

We stayed with 10 adults and 2 kids. The property was excellent. Each family had their own space and plenty of room for us to gather as well. We enjoyed the nature trail and a round of put put golf

Awesome trip even during a hurricane!

The home was wonderful & overall communication was great with the property management! Hurricane Milton caused some hiccups and there was good communication about that as well as letting us know we could extend our stay, if necessary (which we did)! Our family just kept saying they would definitely come back to this home!

Family Christmas Vacation

This home is located in a beautiful gated community of like homes. Six adults stayed at this home 12 days during Christmas holidays. It was charmingly decorated with Disney theme accents. We had no children in our group, but it is perfect for families with children as well as adults. Everything you could possibly need to cook and serve a big holiday dinner was available in the spacious kitchen. The only issue we had was with the hot tub jets not working, but the host was responsive when we contacted him about it. It is only minutes to Disney, Universal and many other attractions. I would consider it again, and I would recommend it to other groups of up to 12.

Paradise Home

We loved this house!! Wonderful experience, we utilized the entire house with our party of 6. We will definitely stay here again! We had some sewer gas smell in the house the third day that was pretty awful but seemed to resolve itself over time. That’s the only negative thing.

Orlando summer stay

We stayed at this property for 5 days. The house was clean and just about every essential was available. This property was close to everything. We have 5 children from 7-15. There was enough space for everyone including their own personal bathrooms. We were 20-30 mins away from all attractions. And the property itself is near plenty of restaurants as well as retail and grocery stores. I’ll definitely be staying again!

Great Home for Family Vacation

The home is in a good location, near many restaurants and shops and only a short ride to Disney Parks and a bit longer to Universal although drive times can be longer with the traffic. Everything was clean and we were able to check-in early. There was some confusion about what was needed to receive the access code, so make sure you sign the contract, send a picture of your diver license and have a credit card of file before you go. I had to deal with that the day before we left and it was a bit stressful. Other than that, the house was great - had everything you need. Note that you do need to ay $20 per car at the clubhouse when you arrive to get your pass to get in and out of the gates.

Beautiful Home

This home was as beautiful as the photos. In did not lack for any household comfort or amenity. We did not request pool heat during our stay because New Yorkers don't need a heated pool in Florida at the end of summer. Unfortunately, because we didn't request heat, the pool was neither chemically treated for algae nor filtered through the pump. We couldn't swim at all because the water turned green during our stay.

The management company is tough to deal with. You'll never actually speak to Kieran O'Brian who is listed as the manager. You will get stuck talking to some secretary. The star wars room is a converted garage, its hot and humid, and very dingy. In the event of a hurricane they will not refund you the remainder of your stay if you choose to leave for safety reasons. Get trip insurance.

Fantastic property

Great location that's just a fifteen-to-twenty minute drive to the various Disney entrances. The community is gated with 24 hour security. One master suite down, all other rooms second floor. Game/theater room is great with large movie screen, graduated theater seating, DVD/gaming capabilities, air hockey, wet bar. The home has 4 king and queen en-suites upstairs plus two kid-friendly rooms (one w/2 twins and the other w/bunks) that share a bathroom. Good laundry room, extra fans, bathroom toiletries, and basic starter packs for cleaning, laundry, and kitchen provided. Everything was very clean and comfortable; the kitchen is full of all kinds of dishes and cooking tools with a great fridge. Publix and Target nearby for everything else you need. Three notes that impacted our stay: 1. Every car parked on property must stop at the office when first checking in to get a key card for the gate, and the cost is $20 per car (reusable if you stay on property again.); 2. We paid for pool heat, but after arriving we learned that it doesn't actually work if the outside temperature is colder than about 65 degrees. Also, hot tub and pool heat are on a one-hour timer, so the heat isn't consistent (in other words, you can't just come home from the parks and hop into an already warm pool or hot tub); 3. We had a few issues that needed addressing (pool heat not working, WiFi went out at one point, and electricity to the entire neighborhood and surrounding area went out -- it was electric company's fault), but property management did not respond to any phone calls and only communicated by email, which wasn't very helpful when you needed to actually speak to someone. Otherwise, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the home.

Beautiful House, Great Location, Subpar Management Communication

This trip was our 3rd time staying within the Emerald Island Resort and 1st time at this house. We come back to Emerald Island Resort year after year because of the proximity to Disney and the features and safety provided by the resort. The house was ready when we arrived a little early at 2pm. House was spotless and was beautifully decorated, well-appointed and maintained. The kitchen had any and all appliances/utensils/etc. that any family would need. We did run into an issue with the pool and hot tub heating that we purchased, as well as communication with the management company. I notified them almost immediately upon our arrival of the pool/spa being frigid (even for us Northerners!) and several times thereafter over the next coming days. After several calls and texts initiated on my end, I was finally notified that there was an issue with the heating system within the hot tub. I was told I would see a refund for the portion paid, I again had to request and follow up on this several times. We checked out on 1/29 and today 2/11 I was refunded. Additionally, the A/C is set with a low limit of 72 - during our stay it did get into the mid 80's and the upstairs bedrooms (specifically my toddler's) were very warm. Our baby monitor showed a temp of 80 degrees even overnight. We did tell the management of this and they said someone came out to check. We had no further issues, the weather did cool off as well. Communication with management was one sided on our end as calls were not returned (I did get a text from them informing me that a tech would be out for the pool and A/C) and you can not get in touch with someone after hours or weekends unless having an emergency. Overall, this was an enjoyable stay and a beautiful house. It was nice to enjoy time with my family and escape everyday life for a short time. We loved the pool area once it was warm enough to enjoy, the foliage outside of the enclosure is gorgeous. I am disappointed in the lack of communication with management. Would I stay at this house again? I would say No specifically due to communication issues, which is disappointing as it was the nicest house we have stayed in at Emerald Island Resort. Communication goes a long way in making a vacation stress-free and enjoyable.
