“My husband and I recently stayed at Santarena Hotel in Las Catalinas, and it was exactly what we were looking for. What impressed us most was that the excellent service began before we even arrived. The staff contacted us through text and WhatsApp to confirm our arrival details, ask about transportation, and make sure everything was ready for our stay. We felt welcomed before we ever left home. The hotel is beautiful, immaculately clean, and just steps from the beach. We stayed in Room 403,……

“Beautiful property, loved the private outside sitting area and the beaches! Our favorite beach was the 2minute walk from property, bigger, calm waters, saw 2 devil rays in the surf. Host was very friendly and helpful. No restaurant on property but does have full kitchen.Note: beach in front of hotel is not private and gets busy, loud at times with ATV tours. Guard walks the property at night, makes you wonder why needed. Pool was very warm, not very refreshing. Also note, only bedrooms are air……

“Me gustó la atención de los empleados. Amables y serviciales. No me gustó los 4 camastros qué ponen a disposición de los clientes. Están en muy mal estado. No había papel higiénico ni tallas en el. Baño del restaurante a las 8 y 30 de la mañana abriendo ellos el. Restaurante a las 7 am. El carro de transporte solo. Uno hay ahora para 3 usuarios. La comida aceptable pero muy raquitica. En fin ya no es como antes yo he visitado este hotel. Por muchas ocasiones y lastima ahora vade mal. En peor.……

“We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and loved the full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and outdoor seating area. The pool is large and warm and we had it all to ourselves all 3 days we went swimming. (Closes at 7pm so slight improvement would be longer hours.) Grocery store a couple minute walk away so very convenient if you want to get supplies for some meals. Location would feel inconvenient if you do not have a rental car. (Beach access is a long walk). But with a car we loved how it was central to so……

“The room was clean although there were ants crawling around. We were led to beleive the restaurant was open as the promotional info claimed they served cajun style food. When we arrived, it turnes out the restaurant hasnt even been built yet and there was also alot of construction going on daily.”

“We did not have a good experience during our stay. When we first arrived, there was no welcome experience or refreshments offered, which made the check-in feel uninviting. In our room, basic amenities such as towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner were missing. The toilet was also not properly cleaned when we arrived, and it remained in poor condition throughout our 5-day stay. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and our room was sometimes skipped until we contacted the front desk to request……
