Wonderful spot
This whole property is charming. We stayed at the Hiker’s’s nest, it was clean, comfortable and perfect for our visit. Monique was the perfect host. She quickly responded to all our requests and offered suggestions for places to visit

Beatiful spot and an amazing host
The Villa Varzea is situated close to Sete Cidades, and looks out onto the volcano. Gorgeous views are combined with a very peaceful village vibe. Monique is an exceptional host, super nice and kind, and so helpful. We had a lot of questions, since this was our first time in the Azores, and she was there to help us out with every one of them. The "nests" are super cute little appartments, very clean. Everything you need for a stay is provided, including cooking utensils, cutlery, etc. We (two adults) stayed at the Hiker's Nest, and were very comfortable there. In the village, you will find a coffee shop (we ended up buying so much more than coffee, like snacks and fruits), a small grocery store (just the basics), and a restaurant (which we didn't go to). Things close relatively early there, so be prepared to have some provisions if you arrive late during the day. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone who wants to explore the western side of Sao Miguel.

Great Stay
The accommodation looks very good. It is a bit out of the way but there is a supermarket within 5 minutes by car. The nearest towns can be reached within 10 minutes by car or 60 minutes on foot. Monique was a very warm hostess who provides you with tips for activities and wants you to want for nothing. We like to come back again. Christina and Matthias

Fantastisch verblijf en zeer gastvrije host!
We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in Varzea. Monique is ontzettend gastvrij en heeft ons heel hartelijk ontvangen. Het appartement is smaakvol ingericht en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De buitenruimte is voor algemeen gebruik. Ik zou iedereen aanraden hier te boeken!
