“What a superb little place! We absolutely loved it here, we had room 202 which had 2 little balconies, one with table and chairs which was brilliant for people watching. Everything was immaculate, very comfortable bed, good shower with shower gel and toiletries and the whole place smelt so nice. The location couldn’t be any better, excellent value, we will definitely stay here again when we’re next in Alicante.”

“Vi köpte en billig hotell natt i Alicante för att utforska stan lite närmare. Vil5 har ett utmärkt läge i gamla stan nära till restauranger, barer, museum och hissen som tar dig upp till borgen på berget. VIL5 är obemannat men all service finns i hotellet tvärs över gatan, där sker även incheckning och frukost. Frukost kostade 10.50 euro, den var rätt så standard men helt ok. Frukosten serverades på takvåningen med en fin utsikt över borgen och stan. Ute terrassen var inte öppen under frukosten……

“We arrived early, but had a very friendly greeting and were allowed to check in early as our room was ready. The hostal is set in a very convenient spot in the city, very close to the beach, castle and museums, and with plenty of dining options. The room was bright, clean and well equipped. Check in instructions could be more clear, but would definitely recommend.
Tip: a door code is emailed ahead of arrival, but you need to remember the # key after the number. The code will not work until 3pm……
