「Oporto Street Fonte Taurina is just one street above Cais de Ribera. That is where all the action is and right on the river. Full of restaurants and shopping, and beautiful views of Vila Nova de Gala. Vila Nova de Gala is also where the Port Wines come from and it is an easy walk across the bridge. 「This is a surprise boutique hotel during our trip to Spain and Portugal. Very cozy and new and unique. We have a two connected family rooms facing the plaza. The front desk is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is restaurant style and food is best for our whole trip. Definitely will recommend 」

「A very charming place with character in historic Porto. The apartment is huge, clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen ready for cooking. Beds were comfy, heaters worked well, good WiFi and hot water for two. Loved the windows and balconies over the river with amazing views. Excellent location in old town along the riverfront. Markets nearby.」

「Very nice and modern apartment on the river. Our only gripe was that as a user of Apple Maps it was hard to find. Apple Maps took us a few hundred feet the wrong way. The hosts were very patient and helpful. Google maps took us right to it!」
