「Restaurant is still good and well maintained but room and all the other areas really need to be renovated.」

「If you're a all creatures great and small fan, it's perfect, as you walk in you actually walk into the "drovers". If you're not a fan it will take you back it's an unchanged farmers country pub, but don't let that deter you, the rooms are stunningly clean, the staff friendly and very attentive.」

「Great staff」

「This is a place that has been designed to make you feel at home. The rooms are tastefully decorated with colorful fabrics and interesting decorations. The pub is dog and human friendly and is a popular spot for locals. Jack, the Bernese Mountain dog is regularly present as he belongs to Kenny, one of the owners. Kenny and staff have put together an eclectic playlist of songs that are ever present in the background but not so loud as to interfere with conversation. The entire staff works hard to...

「Brilliant hotel. Cosy place (which even had the pub dog greeting us which was amazing!). Only thing preventing this from being 5 stars was the shower facilities. Shower faucet is restrictive which can cause issues if you’re not wanting to get your hair wet. Maybe disposable shower caps could be provided to help this issue. Other than that though a fantastic place in a peaceful location. Would definitely stay again!」

「The Devonshire Arms hotel is a really lovely place to stay. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and ironing board. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast though there was no gluten free cereal available.」

「A thoroughly enjoyable stay. All the staff we encountered were so warm and friendly. Our room was very well equipped and spotless with quality fittings. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and great quality, the breakfast staff were very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely look to return.」

「Stay often, so it must be good」

「The plough inn was very helpful when I booked the wrong night and needed to change it, the plough could have just kept the money but agreed to the change. The room and bed were comfortable, the shower however didn’t work properly, it was a small matter overall in our stay. Breakfast was excellent staff very helpful.」

「Room was excellent with great shower. Evening meal from the restaurant menu was very good. Continental style breakfast was served to the room in a basket hamper. An enjoyable stay overall」

「是我们本次旅行中最好的酒店，有英国庄园的味道，房间整洁，有早餐服务，新鲜可口，酒店前后一片草地，鸟语花香。」

「Amazing location and lovely staff. Sunday roast was delicious! Our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. We came for the dark skies, and it was easy to pop outside at 3am when the clouds broke for a moment. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be and we’ve already booked a return trip next year.」
