“Brilliant hotel. Cosy place (which even had the pub dog greeting us which was amazing!). Only thing preventing this from being 5 stars was the shower facilities. Shower faucet is restrictive which can cause issues if you’re not wanting to get your hair wet. Maybe disposable shower caps could be provided to help this issue. Other than that though a fantastic place in a peaceful location. Would definitely stay again!”

“Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room at the back, so no noise from the A66. Room very clean, well decorated , great shower, comfortable bed. Bar and restaurant very good We ate an evening meal, which was excellent. Continental breakfast was included, delivered to the room in a small hamper ,after completing a form the night before. Plenty of free parking. Would stay again.”

“A thoroughly enjoyable stay. All the staff we encountered were so warm and friendly. Our room was very well equipped and spotless with quality fittings. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and great quality, the breakfast staff were very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely look to return.”

“The Devonshire Arms hotel is a really lovely place to stay. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and ironing board. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast though there was no gluten free cereal available.”

“We stayed in the Lister Farmhouse, which was delightful. The room was spacious, well designed with the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning. Breakfast was equally lovely, with Tom on-hand to provide you with great service and great food. We also had dinner at the Lister Arms on both the nights we stayed, with each meal exceptional. I would recommend you book ahead as every table was taken each night, and given the quality of the food, it’s not hard to see……

“We just stayed four nights at this hotel. We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington. Good location for short and long walks or hikes. You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun. Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castle—worth the visit. We enjoyed the breakfasts—nice selection of pastries, cereals and fruit. And, the selection of hot items on the breakfast menu was……
