“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“Neat, clean and easy to find. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts were delightful and so friendly. The couple was hilarious during breakfast and made the stay worth it. Very authentic Scottish vibe. Lovely time staying, sad it was so short. ”

“Beautiful hotel and gardens with a bar and restaurant on-site. We had a lovely time wandering the grounds with a cocktail and even felt a bit like royalty. A breakfast buffet was included and had great options. The rooms are a little older and dated - it was hot in the room - because I don’t think we had a/c - but they were very clean and the beds were comfortable. (Make sure you check out the hotel museum in the basement - it’s really interesting!”

“The hotel itself is looking a little tired in places, but the bedrooms have been tastefully redecorated and have everything you need - comfy bed, good bathroom with shower cubicle, hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, large smart TV, free WiFi and even an ironing board and iron. It wasn't an issue for me, but the lift to the third (attic) floor wasn't working, and it wouldn't have been fun to carry large, heavy suitcases up the narrow stairs. Breakfast was great - a good selection of hot and……

“The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. Great breakfast, and we also had dinner. I got lovely lasagna. The breakfast room looks lovely with a lot of paintings. Books are around, and a lot of small details. It is a new ownership, so they are really……
