「We loved the hotel because it was centrally located in Rome. Most historic locations were 20 minutes walking distance from our hotel. We enjoyed the short walk to campo de fiori to try different restaurants and was a block away from the best gelato. The staff were so helpful and were grateful for the elevator. 「We loved our stay at the Hotel San Francesco. The entire staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. Liz at reception gave us great recommendations, we enjoyed chatting with her. Smiley truly lives up to her name, lovely and helpful. We enjoyed apperitivos at the rooftop lounge and were never disappointed with the food, drinks and service. 「A fine stay in Rome. Rooms are older than they look in the photos - scuffed wallls, peeling moldings etc. It was functional and fine. Greeting staff was very kind.」

「The hotel is in a great location, updated and clean. The rooms are small but decent. We also did the free colosseum tour which was excellent. The breakfast staff is really sweet. Breakfast is ok but gets old after a day or two. Our a/c broke on the first day so we couldn’t sleep because it was 35C outside and 28C in the room. we had to be a bit insistent to get moved to a different room, rather than the staff being apologetic and moving us immediately, which was frustrating. 「L’hôtel était très propre, que ce soit la salle de bain ou les lits. Le personnel est particulièrement agréable. Ils n’ont pas de petit déjeuner mais c’est indiquer lors de la réservation et ils mettent à disposition gratuitement café, thé, gâteaux, jus etc. Le seul bémol pourrait être l’insonorisation des chambres mais ça ne dérange pas plus que ça. Merci à eux pour ce séjour !」
