“I did not expect for this to be an exceptional stay considering that it is a three star hotel. However, the room was incredibly dated, especially for the over $300 price tag per night. Location is great but I would not recommend staying at this hotel, especially for the price.”

“Stayed in a King Jacuzzi room. The room was nice with a great view from the jacuzzi. However could not use the jacuzzi with the blinds open. Very clear 1st floor view from the walking trail 😞. The bed and pillows are good if you like them lumpy & firm. Besides that it's pretty nice for the most part. The spa was quite nice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.”

“Our family a wonderful week at Whitetail Family Resort and we were so happy to be back! The cabin was clean and had plenty of supplies such as paper towels, trash bags, etc. Tom is always friendly and helpful and we’re already looking forward to next year!!”

“This was advertised as "rustic" but was actually beyond rough. Dirty and in disrepair. Unsafe and unsanitary. Missing smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Dust and grime built up in the vents and windowsills. Black mold on the walls and ceilings. Messaged with the host ahead of time and was mislead on the state of this accomodation. Found it was totally uninhabitable. Took photos and reported to VRBO and was fully refunded by the platform based on those pics alone. ”

“We booked this property for a girls weekend and loved our stay! Such a cute little cabin that had everything we needed. The only downside is no running water for showers and a porta potty. But if you don’t mind a little rustic stay then this would be a great option!”

“The property was amazing! It was very clean, updated and well equipped for our stay. It was nice and quiet and just a few houses down from the Lake. DNR boat launch was conveniently a few blocks away with a park-like setting. Everything we needed was near, including numerous restaurants as well as the historic movie theater. Host was quick to respond to all questions. We look forward to staying there again!”
