“Very clean and had everything we needed but not what we expected. Didn't realize it was a basement apartment where the family was living upstairs. Could definately hear noises and footsteps from above, but it didn't keep us from sleeping or anything. It all worked out, but wish we had known when we booked.”

“I am a gardener so loved the flowering shrubs linking the walkway to the suite entrance. Nice neighborhood and convenient for my family visits and shopping. Suite is a good size and comfortable. I sat out in the gazebo one afternoon to listen to the birds. All in all this suited me very well and I will return for another visit if available.”

We were visiting Victoria to celebrate my sister’s graduation from UVic and it was great for working remotely, 5-15 min driving distance and bus available to downtown and UVic. It was great to have a parking spot. The place was very clean and was perfect for having dinner with family. ”

“Rosie's retreat is a great place to stay in Victoria. Located in a quiet neighborhood just 20 minutes drive to downtown Victoria. Linda is a great host. She left us a few "extras" which we really appreciated. She was also quick to respond to us and checked in to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!”

“It was fine, but not quiet. Someone in the attached home did a drum practice each day around 4pm. In the living room area, there were only bright overhead lights, no lamps for softer light. Other lightbulbs were burned out. The bed was very comfortable in the back bedroom, but the blinds let in light at night. ”

“This house had the perfect number of beds for our family group of three adults and three young adults. We needed five beds and the host was very accommodating to that request. The beds were very comfortable.We appreciated the functional kitchen that included a large tea kettle, good coffee provided, fancy tea cups & saucers, Plenty of silverware, plates and glasses for a large group. The house has a good set up. We appreciated having two full baths and a washer & dryer. I would describe the……
