“Fair price Great stay”

“Stayed for our wedding night. Nice room”

“The outside looks great and I assume had a fairly recent renovation. Thats where the positives end. When looking for a hotel, I want 3 main things - easy access, a clean room/fresh linens, and ample towels. 1. The elevator was broken. Not a huge deal until the second elevator also started to act up. At first the remote/tv in the bedroom would not work. Eventually figured out it was unplugged. Total waste of time because then the streaming continued to buffer/didn't work so the tv was pointless.……

“Didn't like anything except that the reception person was nice. Parking & access to the room did not look like a safe environment. Shady looking ppl outside the door, noisey and the overwhelming stench of marijuana took over the room.”

“The property was clean and having a balcony was nice. It is an older and outdated hotel with no frills at all. The thing to know is they are pet friendly however it was a $120 for our very small dog to stay one night. That is not a deposit or a typo. Honestly outrageous.”

“Bed so cozy…..beautiful windows with old wavy glass. Right on a Main Street. Antique shops and restaurants walking distance. Can see the lake from the front yard a block away. I have stayed with these awesome people many times and will do so many more times. Lovely huge front porch under the oak trees with porch swings and sofas….. I’m an introvert……..peace and quiet in my room….if I feel social I just step outside and take a walk to the lake and watch the sun set from a bench under the oak……

“Upon arriving the staff was very helpful and were even more considerate to change my mom and nieces room to a double with no issues. They were courteous and we had no trouble with staff. Even had a tasty breakfast. The only issues we had were in the room the air conditioner was leaking onto the carpet and the door didnt seem like it closed all the way. We had to tug it to close it fully. The carpet could be the reason the room smelled a bit and there were orange stains under the nightstand on……

“Well this entire review is skewed from a huge issue i had leading up to my reservation that the hotel had an issue refunding my original reservation for that week for months. It wasn't until we kept bothering the front desk staff during our new reservation that they finally got ahold of the refund they had to send me. The sink amenity in the room was nice to have. The room itself had a couple bugs inside, and there was no "do not disturb" signs for the door, so housekeeping could come in……

“There is a definite smell when you enter the property. Our tv didn't work and had to move rooms. Breakfast was not desirable and that was disappointing as we always try to stay somewhere with breakfast included.”

“Its really nice . The bed is king size so very comfortable. But location is not good . Just nice for the long distance drive people to take the hotel.”

“We have stayed here several times before leaving on a cruise out of New Orleans. Great location , clean and a good breakfast. All was great!”

“Good pool which was outside. Room spacious not serviced every day. Air conditioning very good. Good beds, frig and microwave. Fairly clean room. A lot of smaller insects flying about that would get into drinks during breakfast. Breakfast was ok with hot items, waffles and typical coffee, milk and juice to drink. Cereal, oat meal, grits all from packets. Bananas and apples, yogart. I noticed several apples were turning bad in bowl. The front desk staff were really good and very helpful! ……

“The deco was nice the chair table, lamps the stuff covering them was peeling off the room smelled damped the carpet was so gross and sticky couldn’t take of shoes or socks until ready for bed you would walk on it then walk in restroom and heard all the stickiness even walking on the carpet the shoes were sticking to carpet !! A/c was fine tv too small .”
