"6th time visiting San Francisco but first time in 10 years. Primarily booked this hotel for location. Close to Fisherman’s Wharf & North Beach but also close to Embarcadero & Golden Gate. Wonderful hotel. Area around it is clean & safe unlike downtown. Staff are very friendly & attentive. Room was big & clean. Couldn’t really fault hotel other than no kettle in room. People from Britain & Ireland do enjoy a cup of tea so kettle was missed. In saying that there is complimentary tea & coffee in morning from 6-9, but would have loved a cuppa in the afternoon. "

"No service for the tv. Had to ask for fridge and coffee making apparatus. Exhorbitant fee for parking (which was waived for lack of tv service). No free amenities except lobby coffee. Not as nice as our last visit 2 years ago."

"Perfect location if you are there to site see! Breakfast was fresh and had extraordinary staff! Plentiful and great variety of breakfast choices! We would definitely look forward to staying there again. "

"the ceiling fan switch is broken and can’t turn off, and it’s noisy spinning the restaurant downstairs is noisy at 4am maybe staffs are preparing or whatever reason. and restaurant also noisy during business time the whole day. keep hearing noises of plates and door closes it vibrate to my room and i can’t rest peacefully not really good experience i won’t come again. good thing is the hot chocolate is good tho"
