“DO NOT BOOK HERE. IT’S CLOSED. - I booked early in the morning for arrival that same night. I immediately sent a message saying that we had a long drive to get there and that we’d arrive about 11:00 PM. - I never got a response, so in the afternoon I tried calling them, but never got an answer. - We arrived a little after 9:00 PM, earlier than anticipated, but the place was completely closed, totally dark, no lights on anywhere. “The apartment was very clean upon arrival, checkin was easy, (keys in a lock box). Lots to see and do everything within walking distance. The beach 5 min walk and a large grocery also 5 min away. If you have mobilty issues this place has 34 steps to walk up to get in. There was no housekeeping and no broom to sweep up all the fallen palapa grass from the roof of the apt which seems to fall daily.”

“This was by far the worst resort that I have ever been to and I have been going to Mexico for 12 years now. There is no beach here it was absolutely disgusting nothing like what they’re advertising on the Expedia website. So disappointing I wanted to cancel my stay there as soon as we got there but they refused to give me a refund. The only good thing there is the staff but only the cleaners and waiters. The staff working in the lobby EXCEPT for reception, are very rude. The pools were cloudy……

“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“From the moment we booked to the time we checked out, the Mamma Loo staff was in constant communication with us.
