"At the top of the 160-step winding stairway thru sub-tropical rain forest lies an amazing habitation with magnificent whitewater views. The beautiful complex of 6 separate cabanas was artfully designed and constructed by the architect-owner. Enjoy the birdsongs from your private patio overlooking the forest/ocean, or cool off in the infinity pool overlooking the waves. Staff was attentive and served us the best huevos a la Mexicana and espresso cafes of our entire Oaxaca trip."

"Excellent location, beautiful views, nice pool. Place is not a 5 star but well worth the money. Lots of stairs. 100 stairs down to the beautiful fandango bay where there is snorkeling. Could use some kitchen extras, but we made it work. 20-25 walk to town or 40 pesos cab ride. We loved it but we’re not fancy people. "

"No hot water, rented room for 2 queens and a single, got 1 queen and 1 single. Ass't Manager Valentine was great. Nice view of beach. Hotel does not look like picture. Hammocks had fleas in the fabric. Would not stay there again."

"From the moment we walked in we were rudely greeted by a man stating they were fully booked. The reservation I made 4 months in advance was nowhere to be found. After 15mins of waiting around we were escorted to a room & clearly notified that we should appreciate the room we got for the rate we had reserved it for. The fact that the rates when up has nothing to do w/me. Not enough bath towels. No hand or face towels. When asked for another toilet roll the next day, I quote, "aren't you guys...
