「This cabin is a great place for a getaway on a lake! I read other reviews that said it was rustic - it is but with all the amenties you need. Comfortable beds, kitchen with all the things you need, and an excellent sleeping porch facing the water! Our teenagers loved the bunkhouse as well as all the available games. 「Everything was wonderful from the second we’re exited the car. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. The view was awesome. We spent the majority of our time outside. Playing horseshoes, fishing, swimming, riding the tiny pontoon boats, kayaking, etc. Loved it all. Wonderful welcome gift as well. Wonderful hosts, cabin, and location. Highly recommend. 」

「The little cabin was so cute, well maintained and offered everything for cooking. The outdoor dining and grill area is perfect. Check in was as easy as driving in and parking. We arrived when it was very hot but all the windows opened to a wonderful lake breeze. There was good fishing right off the dock and plenty of lake to explore with the kayaks. 「This was the second time we had a friend meet-up/getaway in the Gatekeepers Cottage... it is just so lovely and well appointed. The hiking trails are so nice to get out and enjoy the birds and lake views. We loved using the grill and fire pit, not amenities. You can sit and watch birds in the front porch forever. Ted & Lori are so friendly and attentive, a very warm and welcoming stay overall. 」
