Of Ullswater. We used the guest house as visiting the Inn on the Lake which is literally just across the road.

From the moment I arrived, my entire experience at this B&B was exceptional. Every interaction with the team felt warm, genuine, and professional — nothing was ever too much trouble, and I truly felt looked after throughout my stay.
My room was spotless, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was clear from the fresh linens to the thoughtful layout and amenities. It felt like a perfect space to relax and unwind.

“This is a wonderful property with lots of historic charm and stunning scenery right on the doorstep! I stayed 4 nights and Karen really looked after me; delicious cooked breakfast each morning and a newly lit fire in the evenings to sit beside. She gave me a tour of her gorgeous garden and introduced me to her feathered friends; the chickens, cockerel and pheasant as well as her lovely dogs.
Her knowledge of the house and area is really insightful and Karen was more than happy to advise where……

“We had a pleasant stay. The room is big, clean and tidy. All the staffs are friendly and courteous. Susan at the reception made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is generous and good.
We have no issue with carpark although it is on a first come first serve basis. Highly recommended.
