"Had a fantastic time at the Jetwing Vil Uyana, the accommodation was excellent and the staff could not have done more for us. The hotel is in a secluded location, in a managed jungle setting with abundant wildlife and is within easy reach by taxi of Dambulla and Sigiriya. "We stayed here for a night and wish we could have stayed longer.. absolutely loved staying here . The rooms were clean and has a rustic feel. The staff were amazing. I would rate it 10* if I could . The location is great , tucked away from the hustle but close to town . You can get on a safari tour to see the elephants. Definitely will visit here again . "

"Only one major issue. The first night of my stay the hotel moved housekeeping staff into the room above me late at night. The banging and the noise was ridiculous and when I went to the front desk at around 11:00 p.m. there was nobody there, no night staff. Hotel shouldn't be putting staff in the same quarters as paying customers. "

"Nice location and a clean place to stay. But if you are planning on walking to the ancient city of Sigiriya it’s a 30 min walk from the hotel. Not a 1 min walk as advertised. The service was good but the food was at best average, specially dinner “À la carte”. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety which was good but the food was average. Good for a short stay."

"We only stayed for 1 night but would definitely recommend the Hotel Sigiriya and would stay here again should the opportunity present itself. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. The staff, especially at the restaurant (we had a bbq dinner buffet and breakfast buffet the next morning) were amazing. So friendly, courteous and helpful. The pool and pool views of the rock were great too! "
