“Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. ”

“Me and my son came for a little break room was lovely very clean and spacious the staff was really friendly could not do enough for lovely food very approachable and it is in a good location near railway station and shop and beach”

“This is a lovely clean hotel and round the corner from the foreshore..but there are steps going up to front door which not good for my knee..but if your fit I would say this is one of best hotels in Scarborough.”

“Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!”

“Courteous staff. Good selection of food at breakfast but I was told that I could not have a cappuccino at breakfast time! As I only eat a croissant with a cappuccino for breakfast, I had to cross the road to a coffee shop. Parking facility was good. For dinner, I opted for the plaice, only to find that the size of the portion was about right for a five years old. The quiet ambience in the dining room was appreciated. Overall, I think that eating out elsewhere would have been preferable”

“To tall for the shower I am only 6ft.room was on the small side.miss leading on meals as they was no where at the hotel for meals as the pictures on the advertisement showed .you have to go off site for breakfast.Does not mention this on the advertisement.as I’m disabled it was very difficult to open the door into the room as it was catching on the floor.there was no wardrobe to hang any clothes.”

“Had a very nice stay here. It is the first time we stayed. We had a larger room. It was very clean & newly decorated, such a bonus. For the price it was excellent, would recommend it. Staff were friendly. It was a good location for the town. Meals available, we did not use the these facilities, so carn't comment. We would stay here again. ”

“Very welcoming host, the room had an amazing veiw. Very clean, good variety of tea, coffee and a hot chocolate. The bottle of water in the fridge was a godsend when I got back after a long day. Breakfast was very tasty, full english with a glass of fruit juice and a pot of tea( or coffee). It was so helpful being able to drop my bag off before check in... Which when I arrived I was able to check in early. Also I could leave my bag there when I checked out, meaning I didn't have to lug it around……

“I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they……
