“Always a wonderful time at the Harris Beach house in Brookings. This was our 6th time staying there. It’s fully stocked, lots of space for families and you can’t beat sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. Our only complaint this last time was the trail to the beach was becoming overgrown. We hope to be back again soon. ”

“I booked this house a year in advance for a golf trip to Bandon for 8 of us. WHAT A HOUSE! I did the booking and my friends were all flabbergasted!I arrived first on Thursday to start cooking for the group. Wonderful kitchen. The pantry room has TONS of pots, bowels etc. We saved the master suite for our birthday boy, it was EPIC! The second floor of the house is the entire 2nd floor. “Wow, what a thoughtful host! They had coffee pods, sugar, both creamer and half and half in the fridge, water bottles, and snacks. The bed was so comfortable and they had lots of different pillows (all were nice and not lumpy, which I appreciate after some of the places I’ve stayed). “We had such a wonderful time in such a relaxing and peaceful location. The cabin was comfortable and very roomy. The decor was homey and its location on the Umpqua River made it just a perfect getaway. We had a great time in the river on the kayaks and the water was perfect for swimming. The only thing we would recommend is that perhaps the owner might consider adding a floating dock so that it’s easier to get in and out of the water. “We loved this property. From the soft, cozy beds to the peaceful view out back, it was the perfect retreat after long days of hiking and exploring. Though the space is small, it’s thoughtfully designed and made us feel right at home.
