“The environment and staff were excellent! The only downside was that after spending one night, my allergic rhinitis got really bad, which happens when the bedding isn’t clean enough.”
“The hotel has Western character, clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The exterior was undergoing some work during our stay but it did not affect us. I would definitely stay there again.”
“Great stay! Super clean. A little noisy next to the road with construction but earplugs were thoughtfully provided. Had a blast next door at the Neon Mallard. Get the mint espresso martini!”
“We enjoyed staying at this beautifully renovated historic property. Our room, 201, was stunning, with tasteful appointments and wonderful grand windows. ”
“The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The place is clean, rooms are fantastic. Highly recommend this place. We will be back, maybe this winter. ”
“Great place. Close to the Silverton-Durango train ride, restaurants & bars. Parking was off street, free and close. Room was big. In house food & entertainment good. Would recommend this hotel if in the Durango area. ”
“The room was nice, clean and up to date. The only problem was the door had swelled a little from the rain so the dead bolt didn't quite go into the slot. The door knob locked.”
“Wonderful place in a wonderful town. Felt very safe and homely and shared bathrooms were very clean! Had a great stay, will be returning soon no doubt. ”
"Overall, the hotel's environment and facilities and staff are good, but two things make me uneasy. Firstly, the bed is wrinkled, which gives the impression that someone has slept on it before, although the quilt looks new. Secondly, the bottom of the swimming pool appears dirty, making it impossible to determine whether the water is clean or dirty."
